1) The list above was made with information taken from the Japanese website of each maker except for Hasegawa's Tornado and Mi-24 which I know also exist.
2) Where a fraction appears, the number at the left are the actual versions of the aircraft or tank on sale while the number on the right are all the versions that have existed but are no longer on sale according to the websites with the exceptions mentioned in point one above.
3) Tamiya 1/72 scale aircraft models were not included since they are in fact Italeri reboxes.
4) Only Hasegawa has 1/72 scale modern tanks. Aoshima is the only other maker that has modern tanks at this scale but they are either die-cast models or R/C toys.
